Two new Fushitsusha albums + final Church Whip 7" in stock now

These just in at the BtR store. The Fushitsusha albums are the first with Kiyasu (Sete Star Sept) on drums and Chiyo (Yura Yura Teikoku) on bass. Both releases look great, as does the final Church Whip 7", which comes in a fold out poster sleeve.

Sete Star Sept - Overdose Release + Post Tour / Distro Update

The new BtR release, Sete Star Sept's "Overdose" is out now, head over to the BtR store to purchase.

It contains five new songs plus a live set from Korea earlier in the year, clocking in at 22:22 total. Max volume, no dolby.

Clear acetate cover over a double sided colour cover, with glow in the dark spray painted tapes. All hand assembled / folded / sprayed / dubbed (on a monster duplicator) here at the BtR HQ.

Released to commemorate the UK / Ireland tour, which went extremely well. Normal life mo kekko desu! Thank you to all the people who put us up, fed us, gave us booze and had to endure our snoring. Extra special thanks to everyone in Ireland, We'd all kill for another Beamish.

Big update to the BtR store with lots of 7S7 items and a few other bits including:

SETE STAR SEPT - Sacrifice LP
SETE STAR SEPT - Visceral Tavern LP
SETE STAR SEPT / NOISE split 10"
SETE STAR SEPT - Tape Collection CD
SETE STAR SEPT - Vinyl Collection CD
SETE STAR SEPT - Visceral Tavern CD
SETE STAR SEPT -  Live in Baltimore CD

The above items (apart from the Vinyl Collection) are from the band as they didn't have enough luggage space to take them back to Japan. The money from these will be going straight to the band. Also now in store:

BRAINBOMBS - Disposal of a Dead Body 2xLP
THE WANKYS - Still Love the Noise 7"
THE WANKYS - Knock One Out LP

SETE STAR SEPT - Overdose

Sete Star Sept will be heading to the UK and Ireland in three weeks time, and as previously mentioned, BtR will be releasing a cassette to commemorate the tour. "Overdose" contains five new songs plus a live set from Korea earlier in the year, all clocking in at 22 minutes and 22 seconds total. 7S7 will have them for sale during the whole tour, after which, they'll be up for sale on the BtR store (and through the band). Distros, do get in touch if you'd like wholesale.

This is how the tour is shaping up, I'll post when the Brighton date gets confirmed. If anyone can help with the October 3rd date then please get in touch...

In other news the WORKIN' MAN NOISE UNIT 7" artwork is tantalisingly close to completion. I'm also working on getting copies of the new BRAINBOMBS 2xLP in stock, yeah that's right, a brand new Brainbombs album (not the recently released Singles Vol.2). If all goes to plan I'll have them in time for the tour and will bring along a bunch of copies. BtR and SuperFi are becoming tag team distro senzuri champions on each of the 7S7 tour dates, do say hello if you're about.

August Update

The Sete Star Sept tour went great, hello and thank you to all the people / bands / promotors who put on the gigs, put us up and fed us. No sooner did I return did I have to prepare for the Sete Star Sept UK / Ireland tour, starting on September 27th in Bristol at the Red Lion. Kunal SuperFi and I will be along for this one, be sure to say hello.

BtR will be releasing a cassette to commemorate the tour, more details on that very soon.

Don't forget to pick up the new LP "Sacrifice" from Fuck Yoga.

The WORKIN' MAN NOISE UNIT 7" is nearly ready to go to press, just waiting on the artwork to be completed and then we're good to go. BtR will also be releasing a split 7" between SETE STAR SEPT and INDUSTRIAL HOLOCAUST in the new year.

As you'd expect, operations around here will hault for three weeks until I get back. As soon as I return, the debut WORKIN' MAN NOISE UNIT 7" will be going to press. Feelgood hit of the summer? No.

SUFFERINFUCK / FILTHPACT split 10"

Also, some prices have been reduced for a limited time, including both editions of the NOOTHGRUSH / SUPPRESSION split 5". I'm down to my last single copies on a few of these other items too.

Coming soon...

...this year on BtR:

SUMP - VII: Ways to Pass into Death LP

Vinyl version of last years tape. Best Sump material yet. If all goes to plan initial copies will come with a flexi.

WORKIN' MAN NOISE UNIT 7"

Debut 7" by Julian Cope's favourite Reading reprobates, music for / by bastards, as he said recently on Stuart Maconie's BBC6 show.

LICE - Demos LP

Early 90's sludge rock that bizarrely still remains unreleased. This record will compile both demos, which is about all the band ever managed to record. Those familiar with the Enlightenment 10" compilation on Soledad will recognise Lice's track "Earthmover", which features on the second demo. Featuring Tim Green from THE FUCKING CHAMPS and THE NATION OF ULYSSES.

I'm trying to source a tape duplicator if anyone can help. I wouldn't go as far as to say BtR will be 'another tape' label but I'd sure like to churn out cheap tapes from time to time. A Telex ACC-4000 would be ideal, be sure to send along a message if you can help in any way. Thanks.

Email Address Now Corrected!

Everyone's favourite Dave just made me notice the email address on this site has been wrong for the past few months. If you've tried to send me a message and had it fail, I'm really sorry about that.

Of course, the email address there now is the correct one. Again, my apologies if you thought I was ignoring you.

FUSHITSUSHA CDs now available

The two FUSHITSUSHA CDs from last year are now in stock. These were pretty pricey to get in (not to mention the wallop of a customs fee) but they're still cheaper than anywhere else, some people are really taking the piss with their prices on these!

I haven't had a chance to digest the second album but the first one was hands down the album of last year for me, absolutely incredible stuff. Oddly, I've never noticed Haino sounding so angry.
